But what ARE angels really? Are they the transmuted souls of the dead, or were/are they a separate species created by God, or are they something else entirely? Can they be contacted, and if so will they answer? Can they assume a corporeal body ( there are stories in the Bible that speak of them eating and drinking with Abraham, and even fighting with Tobias) or are they merely figments of the imagination?How many angels are there? What are their names? Do they all have special powers or tasks? Does every human being have one as a guardian? If there are angels are there also demons, for universal law states everything must have an opposite. If there is a Heaven, there must be a Hell…. But is it the old style fire and brimstone or do we make our own heaven and our own hell? What about the ancient Gods, were they a sort of angel and the demons the early church fathers would have us believe? What about dimensions, can angels pass through them or do we have to reach up to them?
There are so many questions to be answered and some may never be answered fully, or to our satisfaction. But some we can answer and some we can surmise, and some we can speculate upon. That is what this workshop is all about.
In the quiet and peaceful surroundings of Lindenfels just outside Frankfurt we hope you will join us in researching into the mystery that surrounds the whole subject of Angelology. You will need a white robe and soft slippers, a small angel figure that will be blessed and consecrated as part of your practical work during the weekend.
Each participant will be linked with a specific angelic figure with whom you will learn communicate and work with, not just during the workshop but hopefully, for the rest of your life.
