Board Rules and Information

Welcome to the Magic and Qabbalah Board ;-)

This is the offical discussion board of the training group in ritual Magic and western mysteries.

You can pose any questions about Magic and Qabbalah on this site, as well was questions about occult subjects.

Here is an overview of the most important rules: (if you click on the headline, you will find a more detailled description. The Description is part of the rules).
  • We kindly ask all members to register. (This only takes a minute.)
    • It is important to register to be able to write within the board. Some specific areas as 'advanced magic' or the use of the 'search' function is only visible for registered members. For registration, please click on 'REGISTER' at the end of the page. Instruction guidlines for registration are 'here'. Should there be a problem within the registration process, please contact the host by writing to . "Header: Board Registration". Please also state your preferred Username/ Nickname. (Usernames that are misleading are not allowed, as for example: salomobaalshem; Loge; Admin; Info; Guest; etc). It is also not allowed to use Nicknames that contain internet adresses (as "yourdomain.de") or those that have any offensive or politically extremist content. It is not possible to change Nicknames.


  • All articles should be presented according to the content of this discussion board. (problematic content should be reported to us!).
    • Please treat all members with respect and only write such articles, that match the overall content adn the themes of this board. Please do not offend anybody's personal rights. You oblige yourself, not to post material that is offensive, vulgar, libel, violent, or right wing extremist, or in any other way criminal. In case of doubt about the content, please contact the hosts per PM (personal message) or send an email to Please also make some effort in providing understandable articles (grammar; spelling). In some areas there are specific rules, which you will find marked as 'important'. Please always read those first before sending your post. Should you have questions (or ideas) about this board, you can also provide these here.


  • Each member is liable for his/her own articles (Board management maintains the right to use and edit).
    • With your registration, you agree that the articles are expressing the opinion of the originator and that the administrator/ hosts / management of the board are only to be held responsible for their own articles. You agree that administrators/ hosts/ board management is allowed to change, edit, delete, move or lock threads or articles on their own judgement. Furthermore, you agree, that board management keeps an unlimited right of use of your articles (or images), regardless of time and space. This right remains even after a termination of your membership. You agree that all data issued during registration will be stored in a database.


  • Meaningful and significant headlines
    • Please make sure that when you start a new theme or thread that the header is meaningful. First, you help others to identify what the thread is about and you will get more answers. Secondly, this helps when searching for information, as the board is steadily growing, the search-tool will become more useful in time. Titles as 'Help' or 'Problems when meditating' are not helpful, as for example using 'Visualisation is not clear' or 'cannot see a clear picture of my guardian angel'. In case of need, the hosts of the board, will help to edit the title, which should not really be always the case. (Please also make a spell check.)


  • Criticism should be made in an objective constructive and well-founded style.
    • Constructive critics are always welcome. But the critical writer is expected to justify his/ her comments. Critics as for example 'you are all stupid'; 'your website is crap!' or 'I know a magician that is so much better than you all are!' are senseless and useless and therefore not wanted. If you have a point where you wish to place a critical comment, then please write WHAT and WHY! Destructive critic with no explanation whatsoever will be deleted by the hosts, unless a further comment is made which explains the previously given statements.


  • Private Messaging function is not allowed to be used for advertising or abuse!
      • Please only send PMs when it is important and never use it for advertising purposes, abuse of other members, intrigues, or gossip. Please do not send PMs to Salomo or Tara. Any abuse should be reported to the hosts.


  • No Advertising within the Threads.
    • Neither direct nor indirect Advertising is permitted, including surreptitious advertising. Links to websites are also not allowed, as we are not able to check whether or not the member is in any relation to the mentioned site, it is generally not allowed to issue links (please see further below). We would like to point out that links to other websites are only permitted after getting agreement from the hosts. We would like to prevent this board from becoming an advertising plattform. Links that have been placed without agreement, will be deleted from the threads without further notice.

      Why No Advertising?
      This is the official website of the Lodge Chayot ha_Qodesh and its outer court training group in ritual magic and western mysteries related to topics of the training only. (Illustration: when there is a board about cars, then serious information about car dealers or a very good mechanic might be acceptable; but if the board is about Oldtimers, then the other information is not relevant and therefore not acceptable; unless the car dealer or the mechanic are specialised in Oldtimers; in such a case, it might even be desired to be published, as specialised are hard to find). Within our general yahoo-group, advertising is tolerated to a certain extend. (it is not allowed to issue adverts with ethical doubtful and/or suspect content or Spam or if someone only posts adverts or adverts as first thread). This is - as mentioned before - the official board of the trainees; therefore event information in general is in relation to the training only. Links to other websites, which we recommend are to be found on our main site. There is no need to repeat those or other links to websites.



  • No advertising or offensive content within Signature, Avatar and Profile
    • Links or advertising within the signature, Profile or within the Avatar are not permitted. Signatures that violate this rule will be deactivated without prior warning. Any offensive, rude, pornographic or right wing extremist content (and pictures) within the board, signature, profile and avatar are strictly forbidden.


  • No Links - also no indirect links (exception: qabbalah.org/qabbalah.de and within the board)
    • Please refrain from placing links. Unfortunately, this was abused in the past, therefore we prefer to abandon them completely. Keeping in mind that this board is mainly there to have discussions good in respect of content, there is no need for placing Links (exception see below!). Should you wish to quote from sources such as Wikipedia, it is nicer to copy the relevant passage rather than to say 'look there'. (As a matter of course, it is only allowed to copy passages that do not violate against copyright). Furthermore, it is not allowed to post indirect links that state 'look at google by typing "XYZ.."! We would like to point out again that Links are only to be placed after agreement by the hosts of the board. Links that were placed without agreement, will be deleted without any further comment. (exception: Links to the qabbalah Website are no problem at all. If you wish to place a link to a site of qabbalah.org / qabbalah.de, please follow instructions on 'link a site'. A further exception are links set within the board. This will help other members to find relevant threads easier.


  • No Discussions about other organisations or their members (or their publications).
    • Please do not discuss other occult organizations, neither critical nor advertising. Please also refrain from discussing about members of such organizations and their publications (exceptions are spiritual ancestors of our group, as well as people and organizations that have not left any succession). If you talk here about people and/or organizations (or their publications) that still exist or that have successors that still exist, then this might lead sooner or later to a critical opinion which would make the person or the organization feel violated. This is not beneficial to our board, as we prefer to treat other people and organizations with respect. Therefore please refrain from such discussions.


  • Please observe the Copyright
    • All quotations must either be taken from other repies within this forum or from our website, or from sources, whose copyright has either expired or for which a permission by the author is given. (If in the later case the copyright-status is unclear, we will delete the text in case of doubt. It is the responsibility of the user to ensure that the copyright-status is clear.)


 
There is one more thing which I would like to point out: Each board lives of the posts of each member. Therefore you can also shape this board with us, independant of the fact whether you have experience or not. Through your participation the board will become what it is supposed to become.

We are an internationally recognized magical lodge and offer serious magical training based on the principles of the Qabbalah (Kabbalah, Kabbala, Kabala), the Hermetic magic and the Western Mysteries. Magical training in an authentic mysteryschool (or magic school, and/or magical order) of the western mystery tradition is the spiritual and mystical preparation for initiation of the student of the mysteries. Like every true magical lodge or magic school and every true Hermetic order we take training in magic very seriously. We stand in the spriritual tradition of the Rosicrucians and do not only teach the ancient ritual magic, the Egyptian magic, the Celtic magic and the Greek mysteries, but also the classical pillars of the Hermetik Tradition such as astrology and Tarot.
